Yodel Bloomer was an A-20H assigned to the 389th Bombardment
Squadron late in the war at Floridablanca, the Philippines. H models
began to replace the Fifth Air Forces A-20G models from around March
1945 onwards. The major difference was a more powerful version of the
Wright R-2600 radial engine which powered this resilient attack bomber.
Yodel Bloomer's assigned pilot was 1/Lt H. H. Yates, the crew chief
was T/Sgt J. L. Kellett, and assistant crew-chief H. T. Ball. The serial
number of this aircraft is unknown
