Pistol Packin' Mama was a common name which appeared
on many US airplanes through the war, and in all theatres. This particular
example flew with the 387th Bombardment Squadron and had the letter
O painted on the tail. Being A-20G-25 serial #43-9391, it was destoyed
at Nadzab on 4th July 1944 when another aircraft exploded next to it
during a bomb loading mishap.
