Virgin Abroad had impressive noseart, and was one of several
M model Liberators which entered service with the 380th Bombardment
Group in May 1945.
It is seen here at Owi Island sometime in June 1945. The 380th came
to call themselves The Flying Circus, and in their early days were controlled
by RAAF Command, flying with composite US and Australian aircrews.
