B-24D-5-CO Pug Nose was serial #41-23823, and is seen here in a revetment at 7-Mile (Jackson Airport), Port Moresby. The aircraft served the 90th Bombardment Group well throughout 1943 and was not lost to operations or combat (US Army photo).
