Screwey Looie as she appeared at Nadzab in early 1944.
This large Lockheed was the mount of Louis Schriber whose nickname
was the same. Schriber entered 80th Fighter Squadron (who called themselves
the Headhunters) in July 1943, having graduated from Class 43-D.
Schriber went on to become an ace. The two groundcrew in the photo
are unidentified.
